How is CHANTIX different
from NRTs?

CHANTIX is nicotine-free. Nicotine replacement therapies (NRTs) like the patch, gum, lozenges, nasal spray, and inhalers all contain nicotine.

You should discuss the differences between CHANTIX and NRTs with your healthcare provider, who can help you decide which smoking cessation method may be right for you.

FLEXIBILITY in choosing
a quit approach

Even if you’re ready to quit, you may feel nervous about putting down your cigarettes right away. With CHANTIX, you don’t have to. You have the flexibility to PICK A QUIT DATE a week or a month after you start taking it, or if you aren't willing to quit abruptly, you can start taking it and then cut your smoking in half each month with the goal of quitting at the end of 12 weeks (3 months), or sooner.

You and your healthcare provider can decide which approach is best for you. No matter which one you choose, after starting CHANTIX you can smoke up until your quit date.
